Bonsai in the afternoon

just finished it today.
the stones were modelled using bezier round edges. towel amd pole using Subdivide and smooth. the bonsai is just a clipmap.
Did some PS of some sharp edges and added diffuse filter for the bloom.

Thats really good, the bonsai seems to let it down a bit though, it looks like a clipmap. Perhaps if you just model the pot then do the folige as a clip you'll get a more realistic overall finish.

the bonsai is indeed a clipmap. this is where i think xfrog trees has advantage.

Another lovely scene.A full 3D bonsai would have enhanced it even more.

Mate I can only see a bit of the pot, no towel but nice floor, wall in background is really shinny and looks way out of focus!

indeed a 3d bonsai will be much better. any lead where to have free one jsut for this project. -

hi richard, thanks man. okie the towel or rug or somthing is inserted in between the slats. yeah i think i did put too much bump on the wall.
