              The InsightPoint has distinct possibilities for layout. And the SprayVector proggy produced this almost instantly...although you need Corel or Xara to paste it into. I didn't try it with Illustrator.
              Obviously, stuff like GimpShop speaks for itself.

                It needs a little tidying, but for cranking out custom paving patterns in vector (or you could render it and make an image map from it, to save on geometry) it's darned quick.

                  Spray works in autocad too. Just copy to clipboard from spary then when in autocad
                  Edit--> Paste Special--> as Autocad Entities.

                  Its just a short trip to sketchup from there.
