    Hello,
    First post here.
I was working a lot with SU from earlier version and on many different computers.

Today I have a Dell Latitude D830 which comes with a Nvidia Quadro NVS135M updated with the latest drivers.

I found that after getting a view from Google Earth, if I want to draw over the image, I see this:

Any idea? I couldn't find any video setup into SU.

This images weren't static. That is, if I move the mouse or orbit they appear, disappear, increase, decrease until SU halts and I lost the work.

I'm drawing an entire city with this method and it's impossible to work because I need to have the layout of the blocks and just can't draw a thing.

Google Earth was switched from/to DirectX to OpenGL and nothing.

    Thanks for your help/ideas!

Fabian...it is my impression that the NVS graphic cards are optimized for multi-display business software: but not for 3D graphics programs. Based on my sketchy research a couple of months ago I'd say this type of reaction is endemic to this class of beast.

      Hope I'm wrong...and best, Tom.

My guess is its a clipping problem. It can happen when your drawing large things (like your city.) You might want to try down scaling it, so the longest side isnt over a mile long or so. When youve finished you could then just scale it back up again if scale is important.

          thanks remus & tomsdesk!

          I tried something different yesterday:
Saved an image from that location in GoogleEarth and then, import it into SU.
It worked a little good but did the same.

About the graphic card, seem like this card have no other updates, so have to wait...

Will try to scale down and see what happens.

          Thanks!

            Hello!
            I've finally solved this issue.
Just downloaded and installed DriverAgent, paid a license and choose the suggested driver and ta-da!!!
I had to downgrade the driver an it works great.

            Thanks for your help!
