. . . where would we be without our trucks . . . scary thought . . .

-
. . . one could call this a "chiseling" technique (quite different from the way geometry is defined and edited using the video tutorials I posted a couple months ago) . . . this technique is very fast and easily provides extreme "what if" exploration of shapes, proportions, blah, blah, blah . . .

-
. . . hope you guys are enjoying Base Camp . . . I hope to be there next year . . .

-
. . . added a snout . . . oink-oink . . .

-
. . . a little more detail on the sides - I need to go back and fix this - too sharp around the edges . . . what a cheesy background . . .

-
. . . minor side scoop detail . . .

-
nice u might want to add some of that on the front and back too

. . . tossed on some headlights . . .

. . . I just had to try something different . . . which illustrates clearly that different does not always equal aesthetically pleasing . . .

The guys at GM should remove their blindfolds before approving a design. What were they thinking? Didn't finish rehab?
-
Personally i think the entire concept of a convertible truck is pretty flawed
They should produce more of your designs brad

Thank you Remus.
In my opinion, a good, complete design involves being able to see the car from any angle while still maintaining visual interest. At best, I usually only get halfway there . . . okay, maybe only 25% . . . but, I'm all about having fun, which is why I continue . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

I love to hear that people are having fun with SketchUp! I look at it the same way!! If you can't make something fun, why do it?
That's why SketchUp was designed the way it is!Cheers Brad!!

I guess it's like when you go fishing - sometimes you get a fish, other times you're just out there, enjoying nature. This one is no catch . . . someone should write a ruby script that allows you to pick an icon that looks like a demolition switch - when selected, you see your model destroyed while hearing the sound of broken glass . . . I'd use that option for this model if it was available . . . (ha) . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

I don't remember ever doing a hearse . . . not sure this would be a popular color with hearses . . . maybe for a festive funeral . . . if there ever was such a thing . . . I better change the color . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad
