Thanks very much.I still have many details to add but at least I've begun . . . here are some mirrors, and softened the window corners . . . added a few details at the back . . . blah, blah, blah . . . it's difficult to complete this project at work because I have so much end of year paperwork!
-
I asked CraigD if I could do some presentations at 3D Basecamp . . . maybe if you guys would pester Craig and let him know you'd like to see one of my demo's he'd invite me to do a presentation of the "six minute car" and some other fun stuff . . . what a shameless plug . . . . . .
Happy sketching,
Brad

hey i was wanting to ask you if i could edit and use subdivide on that red car would you?
-
Ray, of course - have fun with it. Sorry it's a "dirty" file - very sloppy geometry b/c I just whipped it out very fast . . . hope this is the one you're looking for - if not, let me know & I'll upload any you like . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

. . . hard to believe we're closing in on ten grand - who would've thought, eh . . . thanks everyone - I couldn't have gotten this far without you - still have a long way to go - still havin' a boatload of fun!

this one looks really sporty and cool

Thanks!
I really believe I'm just scratching the surface with this software. Every time I try something new I learn something new - how to do something better, how to define geometry easier to represent what's spinning around in my head. There's so much more to learn - so many more things to design & model.
I'm going to name my next child SketchUp . . . okay, that's going too far . . . maybe my next cat . . .
Happy Sketching,

. . . I still don't like trucks very much, but thought this could turn into something I'd be proud to drive with say, I dunno, maybe 529 hp or so . . . yup, I could do that . . .
