HI! I think this is my first post here, I saw the May update email, and tried to download and install the 4 ruby scripts used to make the vase.

I am using Leopard on Mac, so I click on it to download it, it goes to my downloads folder, then I take the contents of the folder that I downloaded and place it in my Plugins Folder with my other plugins.

BUT They don't work! OR if they appear as in the Tools menu (ie Joint Pushpull does) I don't get the toolbars.

I have tried View>Toolbars, they aren't there, also tried Preferences>Extensions and those weren't updated either.

      SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Also is there any way of downloadong someone actual plugin/tools library that all works and just do it that way???

      I am rubbish with Ruby, but need the extra functionality πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

Make sure when you extract the files from the .zip archive, you preserve the folder structure. Typically, there will be one .rb file, and one folder.

So for example, for Offset on Surfaces, the folder structure should look like this:

        Plugins/
          OffSetOnSurfaces.rb
          OFS_Dir/
            OfsDrag.png
            OfsForbidden.png
            OfsMain.png

Thanks for your response, but it still doesn't work.

The file structure is as you described, though there are many more files in the OFS_Dir/ (png/pdf etc)

Joint push pull appears to be working for me now though...

All these Ruby scripts seem very well messy! I mean the arrangment.

I don't know what half the ones I have are any more! Any tips on organization with Ruby? Also how to get the above script to work 😞 😳
