I Recently taught at a computer lab that had Just Purchased some new video cards for their computers and it was a total disaster.
The card, if I remeber correctly was an Asus
and I vaguely remember EN8400 GS I think Nvidia FX but not quite sure.
Does any one have experience with SketchUp on this card. I think it should have been a good experience and not the disaster that it was. Could it be some sort of a setting issue?
Hardware acceleration was enabled and I had to turn it off in order to be able to work in SketchUp on anything other than a box.

That is not a FX (workstation) graphics card, but a low end desktop graphics card. So low end I won't even consider it a gaming class card as the only stuff it will play (with a reasonable player experience) are games from 5 years ago, hardly a challenge in comparison to what today's' gaming class cards are capable of, not even considering workstation class graphics cards.

juju thanks so much for that input.
I am going to forward it to the computer lab.
The cards are so new that they may be able to trade them in and get something valuable for their money.
So I have the codes right then, It made sense to you.
          Thanks a million.
