    • Please help me i have a question, and my wife might kill me

      Hi everyone,

Recently my wife's computer picked up a virus and it killed it. Now the local PC World refused to fix it saying that the motherboard was shot. I'm more inclined to say that its the virus mucking up the boot procedures. Now I have a second PC which I'm now using. but i want the data of the other computer.

      So here is the question:

Can i plug the hard drive from my wife's PC into the second PC as a slave drive then scan for the virus and then take the data i want of it?

      Thanks in advance

    • RE: Paint bucket troubles

One thing that does happen is that sketch up twin faces things.
Have you tried deleting the face to see if there is one underneath?

When the two surfaces meet the smaller one take the colour of the larger.
      Just repaint it

If you post something, I'll take a look and give you some tips

    • RE: Fresh install of Sketchup

Being a Landscape Architect, there are some tools I can't do with out.

The scripts i use the most are:

      1. Make Faces
      2. Left Click Face Reverse
      3. Component Spray
      4. Move to Origin
      5. Joint Push Pull
        and..
      6. SketchUcation Community Forums

I remember that there was a thread on essential ruby scripts somewhere can't find it.

    • RE: Arrow keys to move objects?

In Autocad you don't use the arrow keys to position objects and lines. Plus most people use the VCB and construction lines.

The arrow keys would just confuse matters

That Image looks great. But you have three vampires in the forground (no shadows)

Us LA should be more visable

      So just to clarify,

It only happens when you set the page transitions to 0?

I have had the same issue with a few of my models not sure what the solution is. Sorry I couldn't help, but at least we are not alone

    • RE: A Fun Little Game, Part the Third

Granted but now Apple have taken over the world and any protection the Mac users enjoyed from viruses, because no-one could be bothered to hack such a minority, has been destroyed. It’s your entire fault!

I wish that my upgrade and 3ds max 9 would arrive soon.

      Kenny,

I'm no expert at rendering but one thing I can see that might solve it is try to create the face on the lower wall as one face.

Layout optimises the view to speed things up while you are working on it. you also can assign line thickness to the windows.
