Green Toaster's Car Sketches
-
. . . I think the last car looked like it was unhappy rather than mean . . . I wanted it to look mean, not sad . . . here's another quick front end idea - obviously, just a slight twist from earlier stuff . . .
-
maybe u want to upload the unhappy car because i want to show his mean face

Of course - I'll just have to find that file - I work on so many different computers, it's sometimes difficult to keep up with all of these files . . .I guess it's obvious from this one . . . yeah, I was watching Star Wars today . . .

. . . happy Monday . . .
-
. . . a car for Memorial Day . . . happy Sketching . . .
-
. . . returning to roots . . . just for fun . . .
-
Wow i really like that one can you post the file?
-
. . . ok . . . as long as you keep in mind it was a very, very fast "sketch" and was never intended to be something finished - just a vague concept I ripped out in just a few minutes . . . have fun with it . . .
-
Thanx its a good base model
-
You're welcome.
Did you notice the layer "HIDDEN?" . . . the geometry on this layer makes it easy to rotate the wheel and tires . . . I always use a standard 30 or 40 degrees so I can get them back in alignment fast & easy and cars often look better from those low angles with the wheel turned . . .
Happy Sketching,
Brad

. . . izzit just me, or does anyone else see an El Camino ? . . .
-
. . . similar theme as another one with a few changes . . . just playing around, having fun, nothing serious or time consuming . . .
-
. . . it's Thursday here in paradise . . . hope all are enjoying the day/night, where ever you may be . . .
-
. . . this is the same car, just stretched a bit here & there . . . the car went from "sporty 12 mpg" to "dorky 36 mpg" in less than 60 seconds . . . (lol) . . .
-
. . . blah, blah, blah . . . if I showed the "unsmoothed" geometry you could see how super-quick this car went together . . . obviously some details need to be worked out but the idea is conveyed - and, that's the point, right? Quick idea pops into head, scratch it out with S/U, do another one . . . blah, blah, blah . . . still having fun . . .
