Hampton Court Palace UK. This is my latest image using Sketchup & Maxwell Render. These images all came from one multi light render with no post processing. The colour images use the Kodak Portra 800 response. The Black & White images use the Agfapan APX 400 film response.

      Just a moment...

Yes I'm familiar with the intricate chimneys however they don't feature on this part of the palace.

Hello Simon, now your cooking! Lovely set of images, can't decide which I prefer most. πŸ‘
Makes me want to start modeling the Great British buildings again (windsor Castle for Daniel 😠 ).
Something special about the old British architecture IMHO.

Looks great from that angle, would be great to see it from the other side where they have the elaborate chimneys.

              Excellent renders as always.

              It is a magnificent facade.

Great work Simon, there's something really endearing about the B+W images. Really suits the scene. Can't wait for a view across the water πŸ˜‰

How did you get on modelling the column capitals? And the lion heads? They look great! Would love to see a hidden geometry view of those. Really convincing.

Oliver the columns are from the warehouse i searched for Corinthean columns. I did some very minor scaling adjustments too them. The lions head is a modified door knocker from archibase planet. It's in the sculpture section. The rest of the bas relief modelling i did myself. The pediment was very daunting so i ended up creating a normal map πŸ˜‰
