I know that sketchup was too far to achieve the capability of 3ds Max but i hope that it was not too far for sketchup to compete completely with 3ds max. i'm just thinking if its possible for Vray or Multiscatter to create a scatter technology in Sketchup using proxy like they did in 3ds max using a less memory for scattering million objects without putting pressure on RAM and can render fast. i'm just wondering if its possible to do it in sketchup. I read that by using a normal scattering tools in 3ds max plugin the memory can use up to 100MB but with use of Multiscatter technology you can create forest with only 700kb memory and fast to render.
