Sorry about the small size - I've not bought a license yet. Not finished yet either, but so far I'm reasonably happy.

I'm seriously considering doing on of them nifty SketchUp Books on rendering (using Podium V2) and postprocessing this scene (using Photoshop, although I may look into Gimp, as it's free). It'll be geared towards beginners - and thus it'll most likely be an excrutiating read to more advanced users. πŸ’š Any interest in something like that? What topics would you like to see covered?

Won't be finished for aeons, though. πŸ˜‰

The exterior view needs some more love. A problem with perspective?

Of course it is. Post-processing is an integral part of rendering, as far as I'm concerned. I'll be explaining what I did in the tutorial, including a an easy and efficient way of exporting selection masks from SU.

love to see your workflow explained in a tutorial for SU Podium V2 really like the materials you used and how clean it looks.

Not perfect by any means, I know (and I should really recalibrate my screen), but the entire process (rendering + postpro) only took ... 53.5 mins. πŸ’š

Hence the need for recalibration. πŸ’š

Yeah...? But Podiums lighting is what I have trouble with.

Huh? How so? It's pretty easy to set up. Are you using V2?

Yep, 2.9... I just find the lighting to be very difficult to get right. Whether to use sunlight or physical sky, etc is a nightmare!!
