But I gotta say, I'm still having a problem with the headboard area. While I can figure it out, it takes awhile, and that is time distracted from the overall image.

The materials are holding this image back as is the lighting. The bed looks completely fake as well. The mattress looks like a box with a sheet over it.

The materials look unrealistic, your models need bevels, the plant in the corner looks like a cardboard cut-out (which could work, but it doesn't here), the curtains need some more attention, as does the white piece of furniture in the foreground (as it looks now, it's not really deserving of the prominent place you've given it). I'd reposition the camera too. And lastly, the lighting looks univiting to me.

Still - this could really work.
