Perhaps I should post my render first...Rendered using Thea Render and added some steam from the coffee cups on the table in post pro using the amazingly high quality - and free - Real Smoke Photoshop Brushes...

this is a Kerkythea render with preset custom settings. After 3 hours i stopped rendering.

Had a play using VrayMax & Photoshop. IM+LC+AO Could be better if I had another couple hours to spend on setup. Going for a semi-graphic look with the AO and heavy contrast in post.

Ran it through LightUp - 25 minutes lighting time. (btw quality piece of modelling work)

I'll throw my hat into the ring here....
This is using Shaderlight. I didn't add any artificial light at all. Just the natural light from the outside HDRI image.
I've got another view brewing now I will post in a bit.

My night time version of this kitchen, done again in Shaderlight. There are under and over cabinet lights, three cans behind the table, one under the crazy lamp, and firelight from the adjacent room.
