Thanks for the feedback. I will check those sources. Actually it was done with Preset 9 I still need to figure out how the lights work.

Just having a bit of fun here. Learning more about Materials and lights.

Was wondering what happened to the gnome

looking great mate.
-
He's been a close friend and confidant.

Thanks Pete -
There's been so much going on with Shiny Stuff and chess, so I decided to play too a little bit more. Quickie design and application of the metal template in TW. Haven't done a Knight yet. They're really hard.

-
Oooo. I love that chess board.
-
Cool

For the Knight take the Bishop, bend it, and put a cube on the top
-
I tried that. .but it looked kinda nasty.

-
Ta-DA!
More shiny chess. Thanks to BooFredLay for the Knight Model. He even got the scale correct by sight! i didn't have to scale it at all. Amazing.
Anyway. .. just shiny metals in the sun, but It's just a doodle. Thanks BOO.

another view . .. this is fun!

-
Nice looking render mate, one observation however the knight and the bishop look like a before and after viagra advert.
-
Well .. you know I worried about that. Especially after my first attempts at the Knight. BooFredLay actually modeled the K for me. IT still a bit nasty . ..

-
Yeah. . .my brother and I used to play Checkers with Oreos and Fig Newtons. There were never any pieces left to King Me.

-
So as not to clog up anymore of Boo's thread I'll post here. . .in my personal rogue's gallery. . .

Twilight with Mapping and Caustics preset thingy. . .

-
Here's another one using some TW interior presets. I wish now I had put the little gnome in there. . .

-
Nice work David. Glad the Knight worked out for you, even though he is a bit limp

-
I redid this adding the gnome. He just seemed to belong. Plus I threw in some other mislaid game pieces. (mr. Green is floating in the air. .. .
