While trolling through the "NET" I came across a photo of an unusual SNOWPLOW so I could not resist modeling it to add to my "fleet"
Enjoy -
wow. Is it a bird, is it plane, an UFO? That looks very weird. Nice modelling.
-
Thanks Marion
And here is a more conventional Rotary Snow Plow -
I recently saw a photograph of a huge tanker with double articulated bogies at each end so i am going to model my version of such a tanker....I have not found any other photos or diagrams .....or plans (ha ha)...so here goes...
I'll post updates as they are "Conceived"....
-
looks good - it may be a purposely built one.
-
Yes Koosie I am sure that you are correct in your assumption
Here is a progress report on my "Super Tanker" some progress with the bogies and frameHappy Christmas to all who visit my thread and thanks for the support
-
merry christmas to you too.
- if you have images of the stickers/decals on this one it is maybe possible to determine what it is used for.
-
Koosie believe it or not for the life of me i cannot find the photo of the tanker it is somewhere on my pc "hiding" but i will keep on looking
-
this might be of help - i thought it might be a gas tanker because of the volume and the shape - have been searching.
i think it is the GATX96500 - 63.000 gallons - the kind of payload is not given
Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_carthere is a similar looking tanker - for ethanol - 50.000 gallons.
