      Great arc, fine details! 👍

(I'd lose that stone texture though as it really looks unnatural for an arc)

thank you so much Roberto for such beautiful models and all the great information!! please keep posting more!! ☀
Question- how come the more complicated model (palace posted on June 10th) has a lot less faces and edges and components than, let say, a lot of the other models and this arc you just posted? maybe i'm not seeing the complexity in the others... 🤓

More groups created makes a less complex model
The arc has a lot of diferent groups (each detail is a group) so the details can be inproved in a very easy manner changing the level of detail of the group.

If you want a lot of projects of never made royal palaces, projects of buildings of the XIX and XX century and built ones, you can find a lot of documentation here:

            Madrid:

There are other very beautiful places. Toledo or Cordoba are very touristic ones. Salamanca too.

But you have a lot of very hidden treasures, medieval towns without tourists, even Caceres has a medieval city and is not a very touristic one. In the province of Jaen, Ubeda and Baeza (I prefer Baeza).

The Royal Palaces of Spain in Madrid and Segovia have the original furniture of XVIII - XIX century.

Regarding my english, I know that is limited but I don't use Google translator to be sure that I have written everything right. Anyway feel free to correct my english if you see something wrong 😉

that is a great website!!! thank you both, Roberto and Pichuneke, for the inspiring architectural models and websites!! i LOVE spanish architecture and one of the first things on my wishlist is visiting Granada / Alhambra.

If you have cojones, do one of that buildings.

Si tienes cojones, haz uno de esos edificios (No te preocupes por lo de "cojones", parece que es la palabra de moda en idioma inglés y la usan sin saber lo que realmente significa 😆 😆 😆 )

Regarding my english I know that is limited, but I can be understood. I just started to write in english... and you see 😛 Anyway I use sometimes wordreference http://www.wordreference.com/es/ to look for english expressions. I am learning, while I am writting.

I am doing only two buildings in my free time. Because I like to investigate lost pdfs with archeological information, or examining old photos of destroyed munuments.

You can see one of them in this forum. I have to upload new renders, but I am not working in it now.

It's absurd to write in english when we write a much better spanish, but let's Gaieus and company read us 😆

The clay rendering works really well.

Are you modelling all the statues in these models? And if so, are you using Sketchup?

                                  😆

At the beginning, when I saw your photos, I thought of that horrible (horrible because it has the worst possible situation in Rome) monument, but I thought later that it was different and it couldn't be the Monument of Victorio Emanuele. I read that some italians call it the "typewriter" (máquina de escribir, in spanish).

Yes, and "Gaieus and company" is indeed reading.

BTW I myself am not very fond of that "Typewriter" either and glad it's not even bigger. But I can understand that Italians once had the "need" to erect a monument to Victor Emanuel. Every historic era has its preferences and they all seem to be proper ta the time.

The name Typewriter, AFAIK, comes from fascist period in Italy. It was called by locals as the fully uniform fascist liked to parade up and down the steps. It is facing Piazza Venezia where Musolini was based. As they were dressed in black against white stone and their boots were making klicking noise like keys on typerwriter it gots it's name.
It is quite pompous and odd building which really killed the view over Forums and Capitol.
