        😍

        Yes indeed !

I won't do it for Kerkythea... cause it's already been done by KT's materials Grandmaster Patricks. You can find the tutorial here.

In the case of Indigo, there is a tutorial at the end of the User Manual which is included in the installation package.

Interesting to see how the technique differs from one render app to another.

        😉

Yeah but, only the technique of making material, becouse modelling there is just 2 ways to make it right, for any render engine you use, for any 3d modeler you use. thats what i'm goin to show, i know that a lot of people already knows but, there is so many others that dont know, i've seen on this topic beautifull renders, but not realistic becouse of that.

Very nice dale, i reckon it could do with a frame though.

Thanks Remus Frame as requested. I am very new at rendering so I stand in awe of these tools. Rendered in Kerkythea Photon quick (I have a ferry to catch) in 1 min 12 secs.

                    some good stuff here, folks!
there's a great little tutorial put together by Patricks about modeling this type of "liquid in a glass" scene found on Kerkythea's forum in this thread.
                    here it is:

Modeling as per my previous post (confirmed by Fletch 😉 )
Rendered using a global from sIBL Archive.
Preset 20 - Metropolis Light Transport (BPT) / 150 passes
Still a bit grain, some of it removed with Neat Image.
Once again, missed the caustics 😢

I see some refracted light on the tabletop, especially on the rear-most glass.

Thanks EscapeArtist & Frederik. I meant I would have prefered to have these caustics sharper, like in Thomthom's first image.
