very good job, as always, I like the second and third picture (especially the third which is much better the model).
Perhaps the first effect is too cloudy, you did it with photoshop? There is a small program called dreamy photo that very well indeed, I often use.
      anyway, congratulations ๐Ÿ‘

        As usual, excellent work solo!
Just a quick question, how did you model the road? It looks fantastic.

              Looking very good,
you're inspiring me a lot lately!

Btw, I'm also learing Vray right now, I'm also fascinated by the speed
              and quality of the renders.
Oh yeah, and to elt you notice, I was planning to buy your garden pack one of these days ;]

              Grats,

having parents from cyprus I would like to say that it reminds me of My childhood and well done it is a great render, the only thing I can pick on is the blue dome.

                      Thanks guys.

Pav, the cobbles was done using greeble and then SDS.

Zumo, the dome is the same as the current one in Santorino.

I tried my hand at digital painting, over the rendering using an Intuos tablet, pretty pleased with the outcome however it's wayyyy slower than rendering.

Beautiful stuff! And what a plug for the plants. You are ever so crafty, in all senses of the word.

Love the new logo at the bottom left of one of the pics, the angry, bulging eyes, Solo guy. Very clever.

Definitely like your results. However there is something about the dome color/render that does not work well with the rest of the scene. Is it just me or does it kind of glow like a metal flake paint job on a hot rod?

Perhaps the range between highlight and shadow should not be so great?

It shines and it glows. Is that a painted plaster or a ceramic tile?

I just looked at some photos of Santorini domes. The old faded paint jobs using flat paint are more uniform in color. Domes painted in a gloss paint have a very small circular highlight that breaks rapidly from white to saturated blue.

That is in bright sun. In overcast, the shadows would be lighter and the highlight quite diffuse.

I like the render but the dome just highjacks my eye.

Hmmmmm! The other thing is. The dome is light on the wrong side. It should be light on the left and not the right. Assuming that you did not do the dome outside V-Ray, perhaps your vignette is reading as lighting direction rather than vignette?

I really like all the pictures, except for the blurry first one. Knowing so many different styles is gonna be a big plus when you get work. Way to impress the client with a load of different takes on their building!
