Rogue's W.I.P's!

Thanks for the motivating comments Ray.
I would love to help you out with the interior work. It’s very hard for me to teach someone how to model interior. The way I do it takes a very long time and it’s very hard. I do have a few videos on YouTube that may help you but they are pretty dated and only deal with starting off your interior.

^You should easily be able to find them there^
I don’t really have a lot of modeling time. I’ve stopped all of my other projects just to get this done, so I don’t know how much I could help.I really want to get around to some more interesting designs but I have lots of models in the way. I’ll get this Milano done next week, as I have a holiday week, then I’ll try working on some really quick models.. May need to refer to some of my really old drawings to get inspired XD

Ben
I really agree with Ray about some more interesting designs of your own. I would love to see a concept design from you. Try a muscle car since you seem to like them.
-
i also agree u should make a musle car consopet of ur own thats not based on the ford model line up
-
Yeah, I do like Muscle cars a lot but I think I may try a sports/supercar. I have a few designs in mind but I have already tried to model both, both with no results. Very hard to free hand model, especially with modern designs
Anyway, here is a little update on the model. It’s my holiday break now so I’ll be doing more work soon. Damn the small details are hard!
-
Ben
Great progress. How big is the file size?
Supercar, eh? I say, go for it!!
-
You know its kinda funny... ur addicted to the muscle car genre and people encourage you to try supercars and i'm addicted to supercars and people (like you) have told me to try doin a more regular every day design lol every one has their strength in the type of car
-
Well, Iduno, Ray, I haven't found my strength in modeling cars...
-
I guess people see what type of cars we model most and want to see what we could come up with for a different genre. I like your designs a lot Ray! And I think it would be great to see some of that styling go into a more familiar shape. I do like sports cars a lot, my favourite car is a DB9, but I just find it easier to model muscle cars as the shapes come more naturally.
@ Goldenfrog, you’re still experimenting with car designing so it may take a little while for you to find the designs you like most. It don’t think it took Ray and me too long as we were already designing cars and had found our genre.
The file size for the Milano just spilled over the 7MB mark. Once I finish the dash I think it will be around 8MB.
-
isnt the size limit for the warehouse 5mb. but i hope its not that way u can get all the details in to Milano. and if it is only what will u do to lessin the size of the file?
-
I believe the limit is 10MB
-
Yeah, that's right, 10mb.
-
Damn this interior is looking goood, if I may say so
No more interior shots past this point. I don’t want to ruin the rest.
-
Zeh extreme awesome iz comin'!
-
Wow, Ben, what's the file size now? I am really lovin' the interior, very neat and well done!
-

-

Yo, Ben
Just rated that one.
I, myself, am working on a volvo 850 estate. Coming along pretty well too.
-
850 estate, nice, any chance of pic's?
Oh, F! It! here’s a peek at the dials.. All digital! Just like the feature on the first Milano, it’s gonna have a move and replace feature; dials.... Damn hard work
-
Ben
Do you use any plugins? If you dont, your work could be even better if you download some of the good ones. I have the tools on surface, its very useful.
-
My my, we just typed a post at the same instant. I'll post some pics of my volvo on my models thread.
