My Ford inspired WIP
-
Hi all. This is my first post so I decided to include some rich content.
Here is my latest work in progress, It is inspired by Ford of Europe's older models such as the Taunus. It is about 70% done after approx 15 hours, on and off, and is looking really good.
If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Hey, cool model! It looks like you've put a lot of work into keeping it low-poly, but also including the right amount of detail where needed. Good eye. Still, it would be kind of hard to get into...

Great looking model - especially like the last image. Inspires me to do something realistic, or at least try. Nice work!

hey rouge how is it goin glad you joined. could you show all of us how you start your cars? i would like to know your teqnike (i don't know how to spell it)
-
As soon as I can I will upload a video of how to....
For this model I based it on a Ford so I used the cars blueprints. Most of the time I use existing blueprints or ones I make, usually poorly made but do the trick.

BTW, thanks for the comments.

Still, it would be kind of hard to get into...Well, I do try to keep they poly count to a reasonable level although I'm known for not going "all out" with use of poly's or using the add detail feature. I find it makes the surfaces strangely contoured by adding lots of pointless poly's.
At the moment it has no door handles, I usually leave them for luckey last if thats what you mean. -
Well, here is another car on the way. It is a sedan inspired by both the new Mondeo and Mazda's 6...I hope you like it.

Yes, it's fantastic. -
Thanks, I felt like "upping the anti" with this model. More poly's, more detail and a design that is sure to please. A real

Hey rouge do you make your interiors? If so could you teach me how to make one I'm struggling with that THX
-
Looks nice Rogue, I'm very curious if you will have details on the tires as well. And what will be your approach, in order to model a 'good looking' tire. I know how it's done in 3ds max, but I can't imagine what should be in sketchup ( the technique).
