Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
-
well work on that paint to not be so glossy
and the image looks kind of foggy, blurry
-
loving your work ray, very nice.
just one request, a small one really, can we have a render of a full car, maybe at more of a distance that you have previously posted, so we can geta feel for the car "as a whole" as you very rarely see either solely the front or rear?
keep up the good work dude

The images are of the full car, they just don't appear to be on the forum. If you're using the Firefox browser then you'd just need to right click> View Image and then you'd see the whole of the car.
If you're using IE, you could right click on the image, get the web address of the image from the properties, and paste the web address in the browser to see the full image.

ah, it all becomes clear now, my bad.
cheers dude

My newest concept (right click > view image)
What do you think could make it better?
Im open to suggestions -
does anyone have any good ideas on what type of car i should next?
-
Ray Rider,
Think deep space action.
Pull out the intergalactic vibe, and go all Sid Mead "I'm the future," with that kind of old school, new school deal.
Right, and bring it.
This last is Jack bird on.
Durant "I've got a rocket" Hapke

Just looking at this thread, it's obvious you like to do sports/supercar types. I think you should try and model a normal, everyday kind of car. Maybe model the car your parents drive. Model a neighbours car. That will give you the advantage of being able to have a really good look at the car and take lots of photos to work from.

What makes you think my parents don't have a super car? Huh? Tell me!!! JK okay ill try that my neighbors have this nissan sedan year 2000 ill try to model that
-
I think that would be a great idea. A sensible car always attracts people to vehicle brands. Like when I first started modeling vehicles under the name Trojan, it was all super cars and sports cars. Then I made a sedan and an SUV and they got a hugh amount of positive responses. I think a sedan or even a estate would be good for you. Maybe even a little "run about".
-
Here is what i got so far I think it kinda resembles a nissan sports car. I just cant get out of those he he
but hey lamborghini doesn't make sedans and vans and coupes and all that right?
-
Okay im done and on to the rendering
-
I just finished rendering it what do you think?
Right click and save it to see the whole image.

Its about a little past midnight, i gotta get some sleep

The final STEP YES!!!! RENDERING!!!
Well I'm pretty happy about how it came out. I rendered it in Kerkythea. I hope you like it. It was made with nothing more than the line tool and some plugins -
Any critics welcome
-
you have a lot going on in the final renderings, the text kinda steals away from the "art" of the car...
i like your concepts tho, very cool and futuristic...
by the way, what is the emblem?
-
Ray, you are getting better and better everyday... keep up the good work! I will say the last car you just did (red one) looks too much like the new Honda Accord!
