Your Best Render
-
Kind of self explanatory really, just post your best render. Your only allowed 1, so choose carefully.
p.s. I'll post mine in a few hours, its just cooking
-
difficult one as my best render is my next render.
-
new rule: every post as of now must include a render
-
Probably this one (even though hardly any of the models are mine )
-
I worked for hours last night to get this one right.
(For instance: How do you make an apple look realistic?)
(Oops! - I just saw a commercial on TV with apples - they are much more reflective )As a programmer and not a graphics designer I really didn't know what "Caustics" meant until yesterday.
-
I think the site could bee improved, but thought the building came out pretty good on this one.

My best render is probably this one. I ended up submitting it to 3D world magazine after my wife kept pushing me to and they emailed back a few days later to say they were going to publish it. One of my bigger achievements to date as far as renders go.
Best regards,
Scott

Here is one of mine.

This was my first shot at using Sketchup and exporting with Hypercosm. It was a new four classroom building for Sundale Elementary School in Tulare, CA.

A little SU (photomatch) and a lot of Photoshop. Not at all PR, but then I much prefer NPR.
-
Here's one I did last week with IDX Renditioner on the Mac. Larger version and a quick version (2m16s) are available at http://forums.idx-design.com/index.php?topic=22.0 for comparison...
And Jon, this is for renderings, not your best photographs Great curtains!
-
Well, to date this is my best.
-
Good stuff people, keep them coming

Here's mine!
Model in SketchUp and render in V-Ray for sketchup, it's based on a tutorial of Carles Piles (he uses cinema 4d). Some parts has ben drawing in Corel Draw and then imported to sketchup to converted the vectorial file in to poligons. It's illuminated by one rectangular ligth and one HDRI, it tooks about half hour to render (1024 x 768), no photoshop post production.

Nice work Eric.

Thanks Scott. I really wish I had time to render more but this is not the case, at least not anytime soon.

Join the club Eric.
