Love these renders, Majid..!! -
Very cool trick to share Majid.
Never thought of that....The first rendering looks awesome.
-
Thats cool Majid, I did a few underwater renders with Podium and Vue some time ago, here is the Vue one from an adapted scene.
I have a few aquatic components to share if you want, I attached them below.
School of fish
a Shark
Seen here in this scene too.

thanks dear solo , and how did you made rhe reflection effect using podium? or its post pro ? what kind of material setting did u used?
-
TIP: i projected the whale from top, using top material first , in SU . here the result was projected texture to side parts of model ( and needed some retouches) .then exported left view result as 2d . using PS add more details and then re import to su and retextured some parts..(side parts only , where the textures where stretched whit firs texturing). i guess its a good tip for texturing ( easy and poerfull). i hope you try this tip too . waiting for your render.
here is the material

There is no post processing.
No wonder why they call you "King of texturing", Pete...
You're a true render Master..!!
You have my deepest
...

thanks dear solo for sharing . as ferederik say you are great at texturing/rendering and i add u are a 3D PAINTER . u imagine and paint in 3d world . and a question : those radial lights are render or post pro?
-
Majid
As I said before there is no post processing, the lighting is a result of the spotlight (which represents the sun) shining through the water plane causing caustic rays. The same principle is used when sunlight shines through clouds resulting in 'Godrays'.
Here is another render using the same principle, a little clearer effect. Thanks Frederik...
-
Very, very nice.
-
These are very professional looking Solo.
'Magazine cover' material if you ask me -
Gee! thanks Chris, now all I need are a few developers willing to build a 007 fiend's hide-away under the sea like in 'The spy who loved me' and I will be golden!
-
ok . but as i know there must be SOMEthing that shows the light... if there is no material there is no lightShow . those godrays happen when there is cloud , not clear sky . or u may used fog to show the light trace? or am i rong?
-
holy mackerel! thanks for sharing the skippies Solo... who made them? I recall d/ling a bunch of model of sea creatures from somewhere a couple years back... so was curious.
btw - do you have the mackerel in skippy? (the one in the upper right of your first shark shot) ... that was the first fish I shot when I started spear fishing in the Adriatic off the coast of Croatia. man... that's bringing me back to some good times...
-
What do you use for export to Sketchup in wings3d?
-
I export 3ds most of the time
-
All these renderings look professional. I'm just a kid but wanted to know. Can you make business with render of 3d models?
-
Yes dear friend yes . u can do bussiness whit anything , even the Air around us!!! dont u believe ? but its true... if u r serious enough and continue ,,,, anything could be bussiness . about me : render is part of my bussiness that is architecture . best wishes
-
Great work Majid and Solo.

I want to be a car designer one day. I currently use sketchup and i have rendered my cars with both Podium and Kerkythea. Do you have any advice on any other rendering program for sketchup i should try? This is the link for my cars on the warehousehttp://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/search?tags=Ray+Ochoa&scoring=d
